Who insures the driver?
All clients insure our driver to drive their vehicle. Some insurance
companies allow any driver over 25 or 30 years old on the client's
policy & others require the driver's name for every trip. Please check
your own policy.
Does my driver need the certificate of insurance?
No, the driver will arrive at the agreed start time with a declaration for
you to sign stating that they are covered by a fully comprehensive
motor policy to drive your vehicle.
Do I pay the driver?
No, the driver will ask you to sign a time sheet for each journey. We
then send an invoice in the post.
Do I pay for the driver's travelling time to me?
No, the driver is responsible for their travelling time to the meeting
place.
Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, we have a PAYPAL account & we are able to send an invoice via
email. You do not need a PAYPAL account to pay with this method &
can pay with either a credit or debit card. Please ask for this type of
invoice when making your booking.
Do I tip the driver?
Any tips are a private matter between you & the driver.
Do I need to have a luxury car to use this service?
No, as long as the vehicle is in a roadworthy condition, has a current
Excise Licence & where necessary has a current Test Certificate.
I need to be at the airport very early in the morning, is that OK?
Yes, there is no problem with early starts or late finishes. We do have a
minimum charge for airport runs:
Gatwick - 3 hrs
Heathrow - 4 hrs
What happens to my car while I'm on holiday?
Your vehicle can be returned to your house. Between us we make
arrangements for the keys until the return trip.
When I'm collected at an airport, will the driver come to the
arrivals lounge to meet me?
We do offer a meet & greet service or the driver can meet you outside
the terminal with your vehicle.
Will you charge me more after midnight or at weekends?
No, we charge £12.95 +VAT for every hour regardless of the time or
day of the year.
How much notice do you need to arrange a driver?
As much notice as possible please.
Can my destination be a different place to the start of my
journey?
Yes, as long as the driver can easily make their way back from the
destination to their own vehicle. All expenses will be added to the
invoice.
What happens to my car & the driver while I am at the function?
They look after your vehicle & wait for your call.
Can my trip involve an overnight stay?
Yes, you will need to arrange & pay for suitable accommodation &
meals for the driver.
What will my driver wear?
Your driver will be smartly dressed.
Can I smoke in my vehicle?
No, your vehicle becomes the chauffeur's place of work & is, therefore,
a smoke-free area.

If you would like us to pay the congestion charge we can add the cost to
your invoice.
