General Conditions:
- You confirm that you have lawful possession of the vehicle and you are authorised to use the vehicle for the specific purpose.
- You are responsible for all the running costs of the vehicle including maintenance, city and urban congestion charges, fuel and parking.
- Your vehicle is in roadworthy condition, has a current Excise Licence and where necessary has a current test certificate.
- Your vehicle will contain no more persons than recommended by the manufacturers.
- You have notified your insurance company of the necessary details of your driver and confirm that they are covered by a fully comprehensive motor policy to drive your vehicle for the specific purpose.
- You agree to supply I DRIVE U with the name of the issuing insurer and policy number of your fully comprehensive motor insurance if requested.
- You understand that under certain circumstances the driver may be required to make a claim under your motor insurance policy.
- You agree to provide the driver with reasonable refreshments if the total number of hours worked exceeds 10.
- You agree to arrange and pay for suitable accommodation and meals for the driver if they are required to be away from home overnight.
- You agree to pay for the driver for every hour worked from the time you meet until the time the driver leaves. The drivers are paid an hourly rate. For periods in excess of half an hour, you will be charged for the whole hour. You agree to pay in full within 14 days of receiving the invoice or you may be liable for additional charges.
- You do not hold I DRIVE U responsible for any loss of earnings, loss of financial gains, financial losses, any damage to property, injury to any person or any other expenditure arising from the use of your vehicle.
- You will show goodwill towards us and not use any information gathered during assignments to damage our business interests. In particular, you will not seek to solicit our drivers' services for the benefit of yourself, for any other person, business or company.
